Why are we ignoring this?

I think that by saying what he did, and watching the resultant press coverage of same, he solidifies support from his voters, because he can point to the jumping to conclusions by the media, and unfairness of the coverage. The people who took offense aren't going to vote for him anyway.

I've watched that clip a few times. It's like 10 people watch the same car accident...they all believe they saw it as it actually happened but have varying stories between them. I could see, maybe, the intent of his comments could be construed differently by two or more impartial individuals. But I'll be honest, after watching it the first time, my gut reaction was "wth"? And I loathe Kankles. This race was close and might have been his for the taking. The only taking Trump is doing now is taking himself out of the running with stuff like this.

Punished by being removed from the ticket by making statements such as making all Muslims wear an identifying mark. Some could say this is similar to the Jews of Europe

I'd be fine with him being removed from the ticket but I missed seeing a remark like that from him.

Trump says so many idiotic, bigoted, nonsensical things so often that it has become commonplace on the stump, consequently, we are becoming immune to his stupidity. He should really just bow out of the race before he embarrasses himself and the Republican Party any further.

No matter how outrageous his behavior becomes, it's the alternative choice that keeps him relevant in the race for POTUS.

Because he never said it.

He has talked about a Muslim registry, but I'm not sure if it's actually part of his platform.

He has said that was not what he meant by what the MSM and others have interpreted as his supposed invitation to assassination.

So now why is this still that big of a deal?

We know the answer to that one.

I'm no fan of either candidate but this is ridiculous.

How about focusing on foreign policy, the economy and other things that really matter?

I'm sorry but I am not inclined to take the word of a man who has been caught in so many lies in the past. Insinuating or even making remarks close to Insinuating the harm of another candidate is something we can not overlook in good conscious.

Please explain why you feel that Trump condoning violence against another politician was nothing. At very least you should be asking "would a sane man make these comments?"

Why would a sane person condone killing 4 Americans including an ambassador?

There are a handful of posters here who identify with the Right who may be the most retarded people I've ever had the chance to encounter.

I watched that and my first thought was that he was asking supporters of the 2nd amendment to get behind him as a block.
