Probably the most disappointing and embarrassing $hit show I can remember. Totally agree with your remarks. It makes absolutely no sense that a team that this team just fell completely apart to start this game and the whole game for that matter. They had a raucous crowd behind them. Just pitiful. Just got to cycle out half of these players.

The reason is because the players don't give a crap as a whole. When you have a True Freshman trying to pump up your sideline you have issues. (Great on Banks by the way. Can't wait to see him the next couple of years - he is a true leader)

Do you realize Butch left about 9 seniors? Pretty incredible when you think about the large classes he was bringing in so he could get a decent recruiting ranking. Speaking of rankings...did you notice his last couple classes weren't ranked as high eventhough his numbers were high? A lot of these guys are 3-star roll players at best.

This same team almost beat this same Florida team last year in the swamp. None of this makes any sense. I’m just counting the days until basketball season now.
It will be YEARS before we have Neyland packed and ready for a show again like we did tonight. I’m afraid this was the big opportunity for Pruitt to make a statement against a bad team and I don’t see another opportunity this season. Next season even if he wins the team back (which I doubt) I don’t see the fan base believing. He’s already a dead man walking 4 games into his head coaching tenure. Wtf did we do to deserve this garbage? Didnt hiring Fulmer as AD exorcise the bad juju? No matter how hard Pruitt thinks we competed, people will not spend their money or time to see this trash. Recruits will not go to play for this dumpster fire. Literally unbelievable.

JG looks like a 15 year kid when gets hit, Keller needs to be the guy from here on out. We had a bunch a bad luck and some terrible playing tonight, but I still think this team can win a few games.

Be prepared for 3-9 this season. I decided a long time ago to always be a Vol, no matter what happens. This is the worst TN team that I can remember watching during my lifetime, but the bad comes along with the good in fandom. Go Vols!

Both of my kids have never seen Tennessee when they were good, they keep asking why do you put yourself through this bs year after year? 🤬

JG was taking a pounding last night that few posters on here could take half of, he kept going though. He's no great player, nor will he likely ever be, but he has my respect.

I don't think the players are sold on our coaching staff. Is it just Butch players or is it our Freshman also?

My son has not watched football with me this year. He says I get upset then I get really quiet. He said its like watching another person. I'm not sure he will follow UT like I do. I dont think we will go to a game this year. Last night he went to watch UTC play and had a blast with a friend. Oh well... maybe a lost generation of fans at this point.

I dont pretend to know. Just tired of bad football. Losing hard played games is one thing. It happens, losing they way we have over the last 10-11 YEARS is awful.

I understand but if UT only wins 2 or 3 games this year, does that mean they'll constantly be cellar dwellers year after year and each incoming class becomes worse than the other? At some point they have to turn the corner.
