It took some of them awhile but many saw the truth about Butch and left. Pruitt is genuine as far as character but he better be careful. Kicking boards and jumping players asses in public can be consrtued as someone who isn't in control of themselves. Hell for all I know he may want out already not realizing the true mess the program is in. The mess isn't only in the physical sense.....it's mental and how players react to negative events. At Bama and other places the reaction isn't over-bearing. At UT it seems as though the panic button gets hit far too early. All it really comes down too is execution and fundamental football. The UT players haven't been taught correctly prior especially with Jones attempting to run RPO without all the fine tuned players needed. The players need to be taught the true science behind the entire philosophy of the scheme like the fine gears in a well made watch but that takes time so in the interim they are told to perform assignments. This is putting the cart ahead of the horse and causes questions if not confusion from the players simply because they don't know why. Saban worked for Belichek with the Browns long ago and defensive genuises evolved from that group, not only those two. UT has a 2nd generation component of that tree but that's half a team. The offense let UT down vs. UF. Tyson needs to explain the system to the players or it maybe a case of revolving around the offensive line which alternative plays should have been incorporated in early spring. The coaching staff needs to gel as a unit in this case. Sorry for rambling. It's not gonna be easy or overnight.
