Why are starters leaving to ride pine at OU?

A certain defensive player transfered to OU because Pruitt and Ansley lied to him (his words). UT fires Pruitt and he still leaves?

Also, some of these transfers were starters here, but will sit the bench at OU. Why?

Something tells me the coaches at OU are lying too....

Could be a number of reasons. Wanting to play for a winning team/compete for championships. Mad their coach got fired. Scared they'll be ousted in the investigation. Don't believe in new staff.

Who knows. If they don't want to be here then adios

That's a question I have....and no one seems to know. The NCAA hasn't voted on the one time transfer rule yet and I read the other day it's been tabled again to the end of the year?

They may find that the grass in Oklahoma may not be as green as they think it is and if the NCAA does find wrong doing on any of their part I am not sure how that would be handled. I can't imagine it not being potentially looked into and Oklahoma kind of opens their selves up to some poking around as well, not a good look I would think.

Seriously doubt OU is doing anything shady. Kids want to play and the staff there seems to be clicking. A bunch of young players. OU was one injury short last year of only having 2 scholarship backs with the departure of Sermon to Ohio State. With Kennedy Brooks retuning, Gray gives them another back along with 2 incoming freshmen backs to load up their stable. Players come and go in the portal. OU’s #2 QB left as did a couple of others. It happens everywhere.
The joke around Norman is not only did Riley take Heupels Job, now he’s taking his players.

OU lies? What is there to lie about? The Vols are in hell or close to it. Parents are probably in their kids ears tell them to look elsewhere. And with the way OU and Riley handled Covid during the season, parents of players at OU were already endeared to him. It would take very little persuading to lure a player from TN at this place and juncture.

Once these 4 and 5 star players (Lawerence, Gray, Morris) start getting coached up to their ability they will probably not be on the bench. They will finally realize their true potential.
