Why all the Muschamp hate?

No Muschamp hate here. I do think Davis would be a better fit for us at this time.

I don't like the fact he just runs around like a psycho. A white Trooper Taylor if you wanna call him that. I'm not saying he won't be a good HC, but the fact that he hasn't been a HC is risky imo and that's why I wouldn't want him.[/QUOTE]

quick question, who is the last coach that we hired with no head coaching experience.... I think he has done pretty well up until recently...

The SEC landscape was a little different back then. The only other team in the east to compete with was UF and we all know how good that turned out. We were on the losing end the majority of the time. As far as Muschamp is concerned, i like his enthusiasm and the fact that he has SEC experience. If we don't land him trust me someone else will soon.

That is the reason, as I have stated before, that my first phone call would be to Chapel Hill. Davis has rebuilt one BCS team that was down on its luck into a national power, and he shows every sign of being in the process of building another BCS team with no history into a conference contender. You know that guy can do it because he has done it before.

Davis is not the only viable candidate, but anytime you promote a guy who has had success as a coordinator or as a HC at a lesser level, you are taking a chance as to whether that success will translate to head coach in the SEC.

Look man I'm not going to get into a debate about Butch today, but let's not get ahead of ourselves by saying that UNC is a national power. They have a good record right now and have beaten teams w/ good records. However, that doesn't mean they are good or the teams they beat are good (UCONN, ND). They are on the way up, but national power is giving them a too much credit in what is a very bad football conference.

Which post did you read? It doesn't appear to be the one you quoted.
