It seems that there is a lot of Muschamp hate going around the nation lately. What's up with that?

I like this quote from Zach Thomas:

”I didn’t think I was going to respect him, I mean, he was about the same age as me and never had coached in the NFL. I was really surprised, because I would have run through a brick wall for him after about a week. He’s got this infectious personality. He’s intense, but he’s also honest and sincere, and you just don’t want to disappoint him.”

It just seems to me that guys in the pros don't really go for all of that ra ra stuff. If he can get an old vet like this fired up, he has to have something going for him right?

I don't like the fact he just runs around like a psycho. A white Trooper Taylor if you wanna call him that. I'm not saying he won't be a good HC, but the fact that he hasn't been a HC is risky imo and that's why I wouldn't want him.

I understand the lack of experience argument, but honestly I love how he runs around as a psycho. I've always felt that the strength of Vols is having fans that would suit up and go throw down on the field if needed. I would not mind having a coach that would do that too lol

Not to mention I hate that picture of him in his burnt orange sweats. Can he get any more pale? Seriously, he's outside all day.

Apparently, he's a loose cannon---what you want in a D-coordinator, a half crazed wild man type guy, but not a head coach type.

The fact that he's the "white" Trooper Taylor makes a big difference. Nice one.

Yes, be that guy. Pull out the race card. Good job!

Where in that statement do I say that because he's white or black he's worse? The fact that you have a problem with me calling someone who is white, white, is the bigger issue there. Because, there is no way you can find any racist remark in that sentence.

quick question, who is the last coach that we hired with no head coaching experience.... I think he has done pretty well up until recently...

Congratulations. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's not either of our decision to make - and my guess is Hamilton goes with someone (or tries but gets turned down) that has HC experience.

He didnt pull the race card! He just described the guy. Everybody weather they knew his name or not knows that coach was black. If im in a room full of white people and 1 black person, dont you think somebody is going to say "Hey! whos that black guy?" Or are they going to say "Who is that guy with the green shirt and brown pants?" You my friend pulled the race card!!

What are you talking about?

I call my black friends black - or white. They don't care or aren't offended. So, most people who don't look into racism and are past that will say 'that black guy' because its shorter and assume people aren't offended by things like that. I'm not offended if a black guy calls me a white guy instead of just a guy.

You may not be offended but I sure as hell am. Why? because you have to watch what you say these days or the media will be all over the issue. Ex: jesse jackson or al sharpton. I am white, and why shouldn't I be able to say something like these two morons do every time something meaningless comes up? Sorry, just making an example of it.

There's a difference. Muschamp coaches and actually calls his unit's plays.

Go Here: All Mighty Wordpress

Scroll down and look at some of those videos where's he's talking with the media. Whoaaaa watch out for that loose cannon guy.

Dude is on a couple Youtube's and now he's a loose cannon? If you have 95K on their feet raising hell, you don't have a pulse if you don't get a little excited about good defense. Come on, baby.

Who was the last loose cannon/ half crazy top notch defensive genius/ recruiter that got his start with his first HC job in the SEC??

Hint:If you dont guess right,he's gonna drive up here from New Orleans and rip your endocrine system out.

Coach O was a defensive line coach. I don't think any one coined him a Defensive Genius.
