The fact that they hate us because of money issues is a testament to their idiocracy. I haven't seen them do anything proactive to try and remedy this situation. I think we should shift the discussion from why Memphis hates us to why yall HATE Memphis so much. There is a big difference between competitive bickering and hatred.

We don't.

The vast majority east of Jackson TN don't think of Memphis as anything other than an OOC in football every once in a while and a yearly OOC basketball game.

If you want the real reasons for some of the memphis fans hateing the vols all you have to do is read the replies on this thread ! It will all of a sudden become clear to you ! :peace2: Mind you , I dont hate the vols at all ! Some of my best friends are huge vol fans and they will be here in my shop to watch the game sat. decked out in orange and it's all good . :yes:

As fans we may not view the game as a "rivalry" game, but the players do. There are enough players on each roster from the area that bragging rites make this game more important than other OOC tilts in February.
