I just don't think we get Santos. If you look at what people who are close to the situation are saying it seems like he is a Longhorn unless something rubs him the wrong way this weekend.

That being said we have to keep McNeil and Howard. I've always thought that Pig could shock us with a NSD flip to UCF to stay at home. I think McNeil is solid now but have to make sure. Patterson choosing us over UGA means we have a stud receiver who can pick up for Da'Rick after this year and we won't be lined up against him for the next two years.

If Santos says Texas, we need Patterson cuz we will need points.

That is ridiculous...Our defense is waying in on a Freshman Linebacker... Your logic is that Santos decommitment determines the fate of our Defense....requiring us to score more points....

No freshman linebacker will do that and yes I know you will state that AJ is an example....but he may be an exception....This team has gotten better....on defense...Santos is a nice to have but not a must have....and his absence from the roster does not mean the defense is a loss....

More mature and experienced...defense....he is not the total impact player that many think he will be....He will be lost the first year....

Santos is not a position need at all. He is just a great player. I don't see why is being picked so much. We need a dt or juco reciever(especially) more than anything. Id easily take Patterson over Santos.

I agree. Would be a great sign but this class will be fine without him. After watching the UA game I still think he has a ways to go before he can compete with SEC speed. People will quote his 40 time but live action doesn't lie.

I guess because Aj and Maggit did so well this year, they think that every freshman linebacker will be like that. He wouldn't start ahead of Christian Harris this year.

Either he has genuinely not made up his mind or he has purposefully put out all kinds of disinformation. NO ONE except maybe him and his inner circle really know.

Is it possible CP has been a Vol all along and once Dooley found out he wouldn't be a EE he told him to take all five visits(all in the SEC) to create drama so Volnation could BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM all day long on NSD?

sheez...santos is a good player. he is not the LB that Peters is...Santos will be a good player for us his Junior year...til then he will be a 3rd string in a 4-3 and a 2nd string in a 3-4...just saying...

I picked McNeil. Even though he doesn't seem to be wavering. He still seems like the one guy we can't afford to lose. Dude is gonna be good.

We can survive without Santos, he will be a good player too but his commitment won't make or break our class.

Patterson is a luxury at this point. It would be amazing if we got either him or Davis, but our wide receivers should be pretty good either way. Croom and Pig are gonna be ballin.

Kirven would be the next most important for sure. Defensive lineman are crucial. The more the better. And this guy is a man.

From a strictly-Need standpoint, I think it has to be McNeil..I agree with Santos though
