I didn't read through all this thread so it may have been said, but I want VA Tech.

I am a huge fan of Frank Beamer...He plays football like it should be played...That would be an amazing game.

If you all remember, few years back it was rumored that we were trying to play them at Bristol Motor Speedway. Can you imagine 175,000 fans? That would be a record.

Texas- Obvious reasons(The real UT)
New Mexico- Selfish reasons for me living in Albuquerque, but it would also be cool to go against Tee Martin and Mike Locksley.
Oregon- Coming up soon, I can't wait for this series
UNC- Also coming up, should be played more often in football and b-ball
Florida St.- Loved it the last time we played

1) Detroit Lions - that would be a amusing match.
2) Cal Bears - I loved those matches when they had them.
3) Washington - in 2 years, it'd be good to see how Carroll's disciples do.
4) North Dakota - That would be fun to watch.

Georgia Tech-My best friend is a tech fan. It would make for one heck of a party. We're always arguing about what would hapen if they played. Plus if we beat tech and uga in the same year I would have bragging rights over al these punks down here in Ga.(as if I don't already)...

Notre Dame at their house - every ND loss makes life longer, richer, and more satisfying. If it could be on their Homecoming, I'd live forever.

I thought I would be the only one. But, I have selfish reasons. It'd be a fun weekend for me (a BG student) and my fiancee (a UT student). I'm guessing your reasoning is tied to Clawson somehow? If that's not it, I'd be interested to hear what it is. Of course, I would know that BG would be a long shot to win that game, but that wouldn't stop me enjoying the trash talking and cheering for my school against hers. Generally, we both root for both schools equally, but if this game ever were to happen, that would be the one exception. And you could bet we'd be there for it.

Also, OSU, solely because I have grown up here in Ohio and am tired of hearing their fans treat the team like they are God's gift to football and everyone else is lucky to play the same game as them. And to people who say that OSU fans and UT fans are basically the same doesn't know too many OSU fans. At least not a lot of the ones I know. In my experience, OSU fans are a lot, shall we say... snobbier? It seems to me that UT fans have a little more respect for other teams. Sure they'll give them a hard time, but there's still respect that we're all part of the big college football fan community, with less of that "you are all beneath us" attitude. And every team has obnoxious, egotistical, snobbish fans, to be sure, but there seems to be a higher concentration of them amongst the OSU fan base. So, I would love to see UT take them down a few more pegs. And it would give me great pleasure to wear UT gear for the days preceding and following said game.

There are many. USC, Penn St., Ohio St., Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado, North Carolina, Virgina Tech. (I like the UCLA, Notre Dame matchups as well).

Those would all be great matchups for various reasons.

I would have to say Ohio State. Here in Charlotte we are surrounded by Buckeyes and hear all about it. Our teams are said to be soft and couldn't compete with OSU. Two seasons ago I went to two games. OSU @ PSU (my wife is a PSU alum) and UF @ SC. The thing that really jumped out to me was the difference in speed. It looked like the SEC could run circles around the Big 10. However a lot of OSU fans here look at my UT cap like I parked my tricycle next to their Harley. I am sure there are nice OSU fans. I just haven't met them yet.

My 'top 3':

· Southern California: four games played against them, four losses (including a pair for Rose Bowls...).
· Michigan: only one game played against them in our entire history.
· Texas: the UT matter.

This year I would love to see us play LSU. That means were in the SEC Champ game again. I would hope we would both be undef and we take them down and then play Texas for the NC. Big dreams, but what the heck.

yep...I got a Clemson tiger in my family and I am reminded of this...alot. I would also like to add Penn State, we need payback on them too.

I moved from that vast expanse of cornfields and cow dung to Knoxville in October 2007. I never could watch Illinois football (though I did watch EIU football... before Romo got his name in lights in Dallas. I went there for graphic design.).

Know that at least one other person holds a personal grudge against that state, and its football program...

Seriously though. I would LOVE to see the Vols do home and homes with U of South Florida. Tampa bay/central Florida area has a lot of good players. I think it would be a help in recruiting that area. It would also be a lot of fun for our fans to go.

Virginia Tech....to shut up their claims that they are a powerhouse program and claims that the ACC is just as difficult as the SEC....god how i hate that team and its arrogant fans

1) UT vs Texas-because the schools colors and both are UT and would help recruiting in Texas.
2) UT vs Virginia Tech- because how close the school are and help recruiting Virginia
3)UT vs Memphis-(every year) because instate school and where i was born and once again for recruiting in Memphis
4) UT vs UCLA-the teams colors in HD and for California recruiting
5) UT vs UNC-cause UNC is my favorite basketball team.
