After reading that QB prospect Bryce Petty was just told by Coach Michaels that "he wouldn't be a good fit in Tennessee's system," I was wondering what other three star guys where going to be goners as well. As a side note, I was not a Kiffin fan but for him to dismiss Petty and Tajh Boyd, UTK's only two QB prospects, it takes some huge cajones especially with no one waiting in the wings.

Anyone who thinks Kiffin is approaching his recruits in any type of random way hasn't been paying attention. The man has a plan for everything and is two steps ahead of where you think he is. I can't see a valid reason to question anything he's doing at this point if your goal for this team is the same as his....to win games.
