Who's really to blame for this mess ?

Well none of us know. We can assume all we want to but the guy hasn"t even coached an orange and white game yet. We are skeptical, and should be. But, we have to support him and give him a chance. Hell we were lucky to get Dooley just because of the timing itself. He has thrown all his cards on the table for this oppurtunity. The least we can do is say he is OUR coach and he will try his best to win for Tennessee.

I would say we got Dooley, because Hamilton's cheap

Nope. No links tonight. There was a lot of speculation as to what money was placed in front of Muschamp and L. Smith but it was speculated to b between 3-4 million.

There is quite a bit of blame to go around.

I'd say the most blame goes to Fulmer and those who were reluctant to pull the trigger on him.

This. I still think Butch Davis would have taken the job had Fulmer been fired after '05. Imagine how good we might be now had that happened.

...sigh...

so you're really saying it's Hambone's fault
since Fulmer wasn't going to fire himself

I'd say anybody with the inability to accurately forsee into the future and act upon it is at fault...not a popular belief amongst some, but I'm sticking with it.

If you can see the future so clearly you should play!

My family has been a big winner in the Tennessee lottery. My granddaughter is a junior at MTSU and has received both stages of the lottery scholarships each year for 3 years.

We did!
Before you thrash me let me explain after '05 Randy Sanders was the scape goat and was canned as a sacrifical lamb. In '06 we got Coach Cutt and he did an excellent job. When he left WE wanted an outside the family OC and we got Clawson wether he was given the oppurtunity to actually coach and alot of his systems was mind boggling(i.e. the OL flipping positions?) Fulmer was canned and rightfully so and we once again got an outside the family coach cause that is what WE wanted and that is what we got a coach who doesn't bleed orange like the rest of us and he left us hanging so face WE are as much to blame as anyone!

Like a person has to buy tickets to win a scholarship.

Hindsight is always 20/20. It's a little more tricky when you're right in the thick of things, juggling a myriad of programs, teams, personalities, etc.

Give Hamilton some room here; big donors too. The whole thing was my fault... I saw it coming and did nothing. Now, it's out!
