Who's on their way to Tampa today?

Flying out in the morning. Question: Rent a car vs. taxi? My son and I are staying downtown. Don't know much about Tampa. I am assuming I can get around via Taxi (concerned about leaving the game and trying to get a taxi). Anyone got a feel for taxi/uber after a game in Tampa?

Got into the in laws in tampa at 4:00 a.m. this morning. Felt good stopping to eat in Georgia and hearing a go big orange. Also, the first gas station I stopped at in Florida I had a guy in front of me with a thermos full of coffee and jorts. I knew I had made it. Enjoying a vacation for the next few days. Got a parking pass right across from the stadium and I'm sitting in 146. Can't wait fellas! GBO!!

I would check to see if your hotel has a shuttle. I have never tried an uber or a taxi to the stadium but I would imagine it would be difficult

I'm thinking we'll leave our big city no later than 8. I'm gonna push for 7:45. I'd love to be there for Vol Walk and I was planning on parking in that area anyway.

Got in last night. Haven't seen much Orange and only passed a couple on our way down. I am hearing that Clearwater is crawling with Orange right now through a couple of friends who are over there.

Looking forward to the festivities and a full day at Busch Gardens tomorrow.

My folks left this morning from Nashville. Had to catch a connecting flight in Atlanta. About 15 mins from landing in Atl the plane was struck by lighting. Blew a hole into the front of the plane. Mom said it was about the scariest sh** ever. Landed safely, and was delayed 2 hours in Atl. They made it to Orlando about 10 hours after they arrived at the airport in Nashville. And, they still had to drive from Orl to Tampa. Hope the Vols win they deserve it after all they went through to get down there.

I live in south GA, just north of the Florida line. It's only about 4.5 hours away on a good day. Just hoping it's not too crazy.

Got here in Tampa around 4pm. Went to Clearwater Beach and had a lot of fun. Traffic was nuts in Clearwater. I think we shut down the road system down here with all our excitement.
