This is true and if this was the case all of us would have scholarships to play for UT as well and immediately sign our LOI. However the offer never came and I studied microbiology.

Hyams, on The Zone this morning, said UT had not yet offerred. He said Clay had gotten big, but they were trying to figure out if he had SEC skills. Obviously, they could make that decision at any time.

Sorry guys, I can't say yet. The family wants to keep it quiet for now, to make sure other offers don't get pulled. You've probably never heard of him is why I said not a huge pickup. He's a 3* DE on Rivals. Currently committed to a Big 10 school. Also a straight A student with top notch character. Pretty athletic for his size. Plays basketball too.

Confusing. 247 says he has 3 offers: UT, Connecticut and Azuza Pacific. That doesn't sound like a hard decision if true.

I say Clements because he is the only 3* DE I see committed to a Big 10 school with a UT offer. Of course there are some with an offer but it doesn't show up on rivals. I didn't even think to look at the DE's who may have a Cincy offer that may have recently picked up a UT offer.

I was thinking 3* Big Ten DE with a Cincinnati offer because Butch would already have an relationship with him.
