Who's likely to lose opening weekend?

Dooley gets some grace this first year all things considered, but if this first game is within 4 TDs I'm going to be very, very worried.

I'd be so pissed, but coming on here would be absolutely hilarious.

I could see a server crash similar to that when Kiffin left.

Nationally, it would be way worse than the fallout from Michigan losing toe Appy State, IMHO. The VN servers would melt from the traffic. :D

Yeah, I know when I played against them back 9 years ago now, they were a triple option team with a 3-3-5 defense. Not sure if much has changed, but I do know they are a much improved D-1aa program from where they were early in the decade.

That's pretty interesting. Not that the state can support it with HS talent, but it would be cool to have 6 or 7 major college football football programs in Tennessee. UTK, Vandy, Memphis, MTSU, UTC, UTM, TT. Maybe all those college scholarships would help Tennessee high schools to put more focus on football?

UTM dropped off a bit last year from the previous couple of years, but they are still much better than roughly 2000.

That said, they are no Appy State. If it's a remotely closely we shoud all wear sackcloth and cover ourselves in ashes because we're in big, big trouble.

TTU must have some ironmen playing for them. Their D will suit up for UTM vs UT then meet up with the rest of the team in Fayetteville to play the Hogs.

I'm impressed you know that much about us. We are a solid D-1AA team. That said, UT should beat the brakes off us. I'll have on my Orange and White at the game though just because I was born and raised a UT fan.

I would move UTM/UT down the list. If that was MTSU (this year, not next), maybe 5 is a good spot, but the Sun Belt schools in ULL/ASU have a 'better' chance of upsetting an SEC program than does UT Martin pulling one at Neyland. No offense to the Skyhawks or whatever they are called, but if Tennessee doesn't win by 21+, I'd be apalled.

I think everyone will be appalled if UT wins by any less than 30

If UT loses to UTM, Dooley should be forced to return his entire salary for 2010. That would make Michigan's '07 loss to Appalachian State look respectable.

Who are we playing? Is it Tennesse Tech at Martin?

If so, how did we get them before the Gators called?

I think #7 should be much higher. I don't expect Memphis to win, but there's at least a possibility of giving them a scare. The rest below #4 are hard to rank, and probably all about equal.
