Will be there with around 15 ppl, let's definitely find a bar we can take over with our orange brethren. I remember in 2001 we definitely took over The Swamp Bar in Gainesville all day and later that night after the victory.

The name of the place is called Walk-Ons....started by a mutual friend who "walked-on" to the b-ball team around 2000-01.

Hey everyone,
I live in Baton Rouge (unfortunately), and would have to recommend The Chimes as a place for everyone to get together. It's a great atmosphere, full bar, big enough for all of us and right off campus. Excellent food, amazing beer list (like 60 on tap) and walking distance to great tailgaiting spots and the stadium. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I will be able to go with you all this year. Though i would love nothing more than beating the Tigers like we did down here in '05, I have a gig out of town. I'll be there in spirit and I'll certainly be watching on TV. Take over the Chimes and have a blast.

BTW, make sure you go to Chimes West. Chimes East is about a half hour from campus.

Walk-Ons is another good place although the food isn't as good, nor is the atmosphere or the beer. Close to the stadium too. Also, make sure you go to the one on campus because there are two or three around.

Call me crazy but I vote in favor of the place with better food and more beer.

On friday night we might could take over the Chimes on the edge of campus; but on Saturday its gonna be lines of people waiting outside the doors. Not too sure about Walk-Ons either ... thought it was a major LSU hangout. But we'll keep talking and have it all scouted out by then.

Oh, and I'll be at the game with about 8 folks -- there is a remote possibility that I may have a couple tics available, but even though daughter broke up with old boyfriend and that knocks out him and his roommate, she claims she can still bring in paying Vol-fan Texans. We'll see.

Best trip in the country. Went in 2000 when we lost in OT and it is still the best road game I have ever been to outside of a bowl. Food and beer in Louisiana. The only thing that could top that is a Big Orange upset.

I'll be there with my fiance chilling in New Orleans for a couple days, and then in Baton Rouge for Friday and Saturday.

WHOOOO! Section 404 row 19! We should make T-Shirts that say I AM VOLNATION so we recognize fellow posters.

looking like I may be there, possibly in the presidential suite...even more likely in the middle of a bunch of LSU fans along with dad cheering our vols to victory!
