Who's Going to the Bama Game?

I posted on another thread about there being traffic issues. You guys can go to uagameday.com for a list of details and detours.

Any advice on best places to park?

We will be headed back towards Birmingham after the game - I really want to avoid getting stuck in traffic after the game.

I'm going to Tuscaloosa for the first time ever; I've been to Legion field twice before. I do not have tickets, therefore I may not actually enter the stadium. My son is in his first semester at Bama, and he invited me down to show me around; we'll see what happens.

Park at Central High School off of 15th Street and 10th Avenue. 10th Ave will take you right up to the South end of the stadium. There are multiple routes out of T'town headed back to B'ham. They all eventually put you back onto 20/59. DO NOT try to leave out by way of McFarland BLVD! Take 15th all the way across McFarland, onto Veterans Parkway. You will take a right onto US Hiway 11. Two lane road but will get you out away from town and the other mergers. Be safe coming down and on your return trip.
