Who thought Christian Ponder would beat out Drew Weatherford at FSU? I follow FSU as a religion and did not see that. It turned out decent. Let's just see what happens.

Kiffin is going after a few QBs but all the top guys are already committed. Why waste a scholly on a kid if he's not what you're looking for. If he can't sway a top prospect he'll just take 2 next year.

I'm pretty sure that's not what I said. Let me spell it out for you, CROMPTON SUCKS. Period. If somehow he actually manages to prove himself, of course I would expect him to start. But we all know that the chance of this is slim to none. I simply stated that it would be a waste of time to try and mold him in to some star QB at this point when he has one year left. Why not spend the time developing someone who has multiple years of play left and has shown that he has good leadership qualities? This is just common sense. Which if you had taken the time to really read what I stated, you would realize.

Crompton sucks, but the other QBs don't? Please, if they had let BJ get any kind of playing time this year you would think he sucks too. You're worried about Crompton proving himself when no QB on the roster has proven himself.

It's not a "waste of time to try and mold him in to some star QB at this point when he has one year left" if he is more prepared than the other QBs. Not to mention a good coach would spend time developing all his QBs on the roster. Kiff can develop BJ while Cromp or Stephens is starting. Sure BJ has a strong handshake and he's a great leader and all, but it doesn't mean squat when he's out there and not ready to be a starter.

I'm not favoring any QBs. I'm just trying to let everyone know that although Crompton "sucks", he still started more than the other QBs and with a new staff and a fresh start he will have just as good a chance as anyone to get it.

Robert Marve can come here if he pays his way. He's better than what we have by far.

InCompton will never play another down in Neyland Stadium. He was Fulmers boy and as worthless as any QB I've ever put on an orange jersey.
Maybe Kiffens staff can coach him up some, but the guy just doesn't have what it takes upstairs. I would really be interested to see his IQ test, or whatever they give their players these days to see how he stacks up.

I doubt we will but hopefully no platooning of QB's happens. Which ever qb comes out on top in the spring drills should be given a chance to perform without looking over his shoulder. I have rarely seen good things come from two or three qb's sharing the position.
