I have never seen a kicking game at UT as bad as this one. 4 missed extra points 5 games into the season... Missed chip shot FG's. Are the kickers actually being coached?

I'd say Patterson dropping that deep ball which was probably a sure TD was a like bigger but the missed kicks were definitely big.

The 4 points we lost in the kicking game could have changed our last drive only down by 3 instead of 7. Never know, but to miss an XP's, miss a short FG and have a punt blocked all in the same game is pretty pathetic. Our kickers do not look like they are coached

I won't spend another dollar on this program until Dooley is gone. There will plenty of extra tickets on the street.

we have a special teams coach, but I don't think he is a kicking speacialist. College teams are limited to the number of coaches you have. remember we didn't have a running backs coach last year.

We actually have a cornerbacks coach and a safeties coach. That's right two coaches for basically 2 positions. The way our secondary plays I'm not sure we are getting our money's worth there and could probably consolidate that into 1 coach and hire a freakin' kicking coach!

I'm with you on this. Kicking is such an important part of the game, yet largely ignored.

We don't have a kicking coach, and it shows. So, by default, the blame falls on Dooley. I agree. Fire Dooley.

much better than the last 2 years, Safeties did hurt us tonight, but we just don't have the depth for a starting injury. McNeil will get it.
