My 1 yr old's doctor said he needs to drink whole milk. It's the only way I can get the whole milk in the front door. If it weren't for this, I'd have to deal with skim or rice milk....ugh!

you missed my post...we are in the same boat.

Whole Milk has too much fat in it for as much as I like to drink Milk. Gotta go skim, though I admit 2% is the stuff.

2% is my choice. Can't really afford that. WTF is going on with the price of a gallon of milk? And my son drinks it like there's a cow in our backyard.

I ain't backin' down a inch! The wholer, the better! Here in central VA, where I currently reside (God, take me back home to Tennessee!), we have the Homestead Creamery. This is the sh**! I kid you not, when you pour your glass and then straighten the glass jug back up, it takes 10 or 15 seconds for the thick cream to slide back down the side of the glass into the milk.

They sell that kind at Earthfare here in Asheville. My husband loves it! My husband and one daughter drinks the whole milk and my other daughter and I drink Soy. I havent been able to drink reg milk ever since I got pregnant the first time but you put enough chocolate in the soy and you cant tell the difference! LOL

Skim Deluxe for me. Whenever I'm having trouble convincing parents to switch over to fat-reduced or fat-free milk (due to their children's obesity), I explain to them the meaning of the word "skim." That's usually followed by a disgusted face and a little more reception.

:lolabove: For the life of me I cannot figure out how seemingly decent parents allow their kids to get fat. That is really putting them behind the eight ball.
