13 would be sleuths are in a mansion to solve a fictional murder using the clue formula. If you are a fan of the game and the movie Clue then I think you would want to watch this tv show.

This looks like a original reality competition tv show.
It's not trying to be another American Idol, The Apprentice, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, Survivor, etc.

The only other time I recall a fictional murder to be solved for a Reality competition tv show is Murder in Small Town X on Fox a tv show ahead of it's time that didn't get a second season.

I don't know if you watch the show but checkout the Clue episode of the show Psych!

They managed to get a number of the actors from Clue in it Christopher Lloyd, Martin Mull and Lesley Ann Warren.

I've watched episodes of Psych. A Crime Drama that has Comedy.
Also a parody I think was done of Clue in a episode of the Original Saved By The Bell.

It had no short of drama like any other reality competition tv shows.
In envelopes revealed is spared.
It uses riddles which a contestant a former Homicide Detective I think says is his kryptonite.

it wasn't half bad considering i cannot stand reality shows. I might would enjoy it more as a straight, maybe even new people every week, kind of more game show or a regular TV show. there wasn't much so far but i'm sure the douchebaggery element of reality shows will end up being more blatant.

how can this be a "reality" show when it's based on a fictional concept?

It should be called a "live action mystery"

I watched this really late last night I thought it was okay, as I said it was late so if I've got this straight one of the supposed contestants is actually the killer and really a contestant?

I'll give it a chance, but I don't have high hopes.

Community did a pseudo Clue spoof this past season. It wasn't that great, though.

I think if people use their real names, and it's a competition tv show then it can get characterized as a reality tv show.

or a game show

The Price is Right
Wheel of Fortune

On Tonights episode there was alliances made, drama that you would expect in a competition tv show, a teaser for a Death in Episode 3, and picking up where the first episode ended there was a brutal death.

not terrible so far but the "acting" is just awful. they are trying too hard to play up them being really scared. i'm probably wrong about this but i swear i saw the lindsey girl in a preview for the new robin williams tv show coming out. i paused and slow-mo watched it and can't get a clear look but it looks a lot like her

It was very interesting because in Tonight's episode the killer killed a victim during the day while the group was riding Horses.
It was shown seeing the killers legs plus part of the horse but not the upper body.

Next episode it's two victims, and the rest of the group is stuck in a room.

for me that's the worst part of the show, and why i generally avoid "reality" shows. everyone acting like a bunch of 12 year old *****es

It's now down to 4 people, a letter revealing the killer by one of the contestant I think it's a trick to fool people.

Season Finale is next Sunday, now 3 contestants, the contestants that are dead in the tv show are walking the so the Walking Dead, and the before the last episode ended found out that The Butler is tied up with multiple guns pointed at him.

If they mentioned season likely they are.

I didn't see that ending for who the killer was.

maybe it was my not paying attention enough to catch little things that hinted towards who the killer was but it was really a total tossup as to who it was. i was leaning mostly towards lindsey because i could have sworn i saw her in a preview for the new robin williams show and just figured she was more of a professional actress and maybe just hadn't heard of her before.
