Record wise, yes. But he's one of the worst QB record wise when it comes to rivals and ranked teams. I wouldn't put him in top 6-8 in UT history.

Ware made a big point about Hurd quitting in the middle of the season. He didn't seem to care so much that he quit but more of when he quit. He made it clear that quitting on your team mid season is just about the worst thing you can do. He basically said Hurd will have to explain that to NFL teams and there's virtually no good explanation.

I'm not saying I don't agree with Ware's comments. I don't have any problem with what he said and tbh I'd be embarrassed if I were Hurd. Comments like that have got to sting. My buddy was watching the game with me and felt like Ware's comments were a little unprofessional.

Same announcer that villified Hurd 30min to an hour later. Calling him a quitter on National Television.
