Why would competent assiistant coaches join Dooley's staff this year?

Forget Trooper and Porter... they have better options.

Tee Martin's team just beat UT... without some emotional reason, we would have a shot at him either.

I thnk he should wait for the next staff, personally, so he can come back to UT with success.

rumor on ESPN that Deanthony Arnett not a happy Vol anymore? Anyone know anything about this?

I personally think I would go after Trooper Taylor from Auburn. We had a best performance out of multiple of players one time as a wr coach and a rb coach. I would also make him my recruiting cord.. He is a good recruiter. I know some people don't like him because he plays a lot. Tennessee needs something different on the sideline and in the lockerroom at halftime. He is a good motivator. I would try to bring rb coach Curtis Luper with him to for rb coach here. Everyone has their own opinion. What's yours?

If Larry Porter is hired as the RB coach, look for Hinshaw to replace Baggett. He has coached WRs before. Look for Chaney to take over as the QB coach which makes more sense to me anyways. I really don't see any other coaching changes to be made, unless they leave on their own.

It's foolish to think recruits didn't see the team quit against Kentucky, that they're not aware of some glaring inadequacies in our coaching staff, and that our play on the field won't have a negative impact on recruiting.


Yet, it appears we're going to play that out and see for sure.
