The SEC is ballin...

More like the SEC fans are awesome. We go to the games. We support our teams. We demand excellence. When that happens the schools all make more money, the conference makes more money, we go farther in the NCAA tournament, we get better bowl bids, and in return all make more money. It's business.

But yes, the SEC and all the fans of SEC schools are ballin.

If I had to pick 5 teams I'd like to see join the SEC it's

1. North Carolina
2. Florida State
3. Clemson
4. Texas
5. Louisville

Arkansas to join the Big 12 for their old rivalry with Texas, and other SWC rivalries.... Could happen. Personally I think the money in the SEC is too much for any school to leave.

Nobody's leaving, but if you look at a map of the Big 12 campuses and Fayetteville, Ark., it makes a lot more sense for Ark to be in the Big 12.

Louisville and Georgia Tech. Would give us 2 schools in KY and GA. That would make some decent rivalries. Both are pretty good in football and basketball.

The SEC would probably want somebody who adds depth in basketball as well as football. Whoever said Louisville got it.

I would lean to a team that could provide a strong television market. That would provide more leverage for the SEC among the media competitors. Though it would never happen, Texas would fit that bill.

correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't fsu, miami, and va tech made offers to join back years ago when all the reshuffling was going on and didnt' they all turn us down. On another note i personally would like to see va tech imagine the immediate rivalry with us. Can't stand them would love to whip their tails and send them to blacksburg whining.

Yes. FSU, Miami and VA Tech were offered to join the SEC, and they chickened out.

why does everyone keep saying teams like ND and Texas, we are the SOUTHEASTERN conference

1. It is all hypothetical, and isn't happening anytime soon.
2. Ga Tech and Louisville would add very little interest to the conference in terms of talent. Louisville has a 40,000 seat stadium in a basketball town. Even though they have a great coach and a rising program, they would struggle to maintain their talent level with SEC admissions requirements.
3. Niether team would generate that many more viewers in their respective markets, hence they would not really add the kind of revenue that Texas or ND could bring to the table.
