Who would you say are the five best active Womens BBall coaches right now? My next question, why not hire the youngest of that group? Heck overpay them but get them! Then hire the 2 best recruiting assistant coaches in the country, and the best fundamentals assistant and pay them too.. DO IT NOW

I don't think were looking anyway. I think Hart will play off this season that we had a lot of freshmen and sophomores on the roster and lost a few more than we should.
I think next year we have to win since we have everyone back that plays a lot of minutes except Graves. Were hurting in the post for next season remains to be seen how we remedy that situation.
I can hear it now Russell, Deshields, Cooper, Nared, Middleton, Dunbar, and Jackson are either freshmen or sophomores and lacked maturity to play consistent basketball. We may see an Assistant or two change but I expect we'll have to lose 12 to 14 to even get to that.

Hart wants Lady Vols to descend into the abyss so when he completes the name change no one will care.

Ppl really believe this shat... lol

Not everything is a conspiracy. Hart doesn't have it out for the Lady Vols. Jeez....

I wonder if the Hart hate will ever stop? He's done a lot of great things for this athletic program. A LOT of great things. We can actually talk about spending money again on things besides buy-outs.

This page doesn't mention the year, so it could be old, but if it's anywhere close to right it's a lot more than I thought.
I was thinking more like 50 or 100 thousand in a good year.

How much profit does the The University of Tennessee Basketball team in Knoxville, Tennessee make?

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that figure. We don't know where it is from or what year it refers to. We also don't know how the costs are apportioned. For instance, is the maintenance and upkeep of Thompson Boling split between all events or subsumed in the men's budget? All of the expenses which could be shared would have to be examined.

Then on the revenue side we have the big money from the SEC network which would not exist at all but for football. How do you apportion that income? The women's games are televised. Do they make money on those broadcasts? Are they a loss leader for the network?

This is the problem with a product that would not exist but for force being used to create an artificial market through Title IX etc...

Yep, all of the above. Pretty sure I remember a KNS article from a few years ago that mentioned 50 thou.

Title IX is good in that it requires equal treatment, but bad in that it requires equal participation. Women as a group just aren't as interested in sports as men are, so it can be tough for smaller schools to even field a team in some sports much less be reasonably competitive.

We need RO on here arguing about how women coaches deserve equal pay.

You rang? Actually, you are very poor at assuming what I would believe related to this subject. It is not highly corollary to previous discussions where I've encountered you.
