Calhoun, I did my research, HE WOULD NOT bring the triple option here, he actually had pretty good numbers as OC of Texans with a pro-style offense! Posted via VolNation Mobile
Rather take Leach over all of them and deal with the criticism from everybody....After one big win everybody will have forgotten those troubles...If Danial Hood deserves a 2nd chance then so does Leach...But if faced with only two...Calhoun by far
I honestly wouldn't mind either coach.. I want a coach who plans on staying for awhile and carries on the UT traditions, who carries himself with respect and turns this program around.. I'm tired of the media coverage and I would mind being irrelevant for a year or two to build this back to the top from within..
That's what I want.. Whoever can do that, needs to get the job..
This but seriously considering option C. If Hamilton goes back to the good old boy network, I hope they can him before the ink dries on the new coach's contract.
I'd rather we brave the storm with Kippy at the helm this year. Take our lumps in recruiting. Then start looking at who's available next year. Rushing into a poor hire this year could be even more detrimental to the program.

Finishing in the bottom 4 in the NFL are not good numbers.
He did have issues that were out of his hands, and turning around a program in the NFL around takes 2-3 years... but to try to say he had pretty good numbers at Houston is just simply not true.
