Who would rather see Fulmer gone the most?

Lately??? more bitter than when fans had regularly scheduled fist fights after every game????
I think not.

The Bama bitterness about your NCAA problems is directed at Fulmer and there were at least 7 other programs who complained to the NCAA about your cheating, I suspect your bitterness was more about Ws and Ls than about the cheating scandal.

So Saban is your savior????
Shula had you at 9/0 in '05 before losing to LSU and Auburn.
How does Saban take a 6/2 team and lose four straight as he did last year with one of those losses being to Louisiana Monroe???

If and/or when Saban gets you back in the doghouse with the NCAA, you may be singing a different tune.

Meanwhile we are 10/5 vs Georgia
and Georgia is 3/12 vs Florida.

Oh, you mean the famous belly flop pass to kneeling player game of '02??????

No bad calls in that game.

Other than the 2000 game vs Florida have you ever seen a more shoddily officiated game in which all the bad calls were in favor of one team??????

Yeah and we had a chance to make the win streak over Georgia reach double digits in 2000 but it didn't happen.

In a year when UT lost to both Vandy and Kentucky Bama managed to lose to Tennessee and end a 11 game winning streak, I guess that's what forced Bryant into retirement???

maybe its not your avatar.. you talk/type to much

Aaaaaand, a whole bunch of those wins came with Shula or Zook being the head coach.................... Wait a minute, Shula won one of those games.

wait a minute? wait an hour -- zooker coached the Gators.

Zook's stay in Tuscaloosa must have been briefer than Price's, I didn't even catch that act.

I hate your avatar... i dont know why... something about it rubs me the wrong way...
everytime i see it i out my thumb over it..

Put a patch over one eye and call yourself a pirate.

you left out that the 7 game win streak is the longest one any team has ever had over bama.

we now retrurn to your regular programming.

Well I didn't mention Bama's 0/10 1955 effort but what the heck?

If you're thinking of 1982, we beat Kentucky that year.

My bad, I checked that after I posted and wondered if anyone would catch my mistake.

Kentucky won vs the Vols in 1981 and 1984 but not in 1982. I was fortunate enough to meed the Kentucky QB who started for the Wildcats those four years back in 2001 and he practically guaranteed a Kaintuck win that year over the Vols. When they had us down 21/0 in the first quarter and we still hadn't made one first down, he almost made a believer of me.

Kudos to Kentucky today, if they hadn't given Bamma a free TD they would have won today.

wait a minute? wait an hour -- zooker coached the Gators.

But not according to the Jorts fans.

As far as my tune changing........well maybe, but the song will always remain the same........"YEA ALABAMA"[/QUOTE]

Some of my best friends have been Bamma fans.

The song is "rocky top" though!!:)

I am sure bama fans arent concerned about phil. Our program is in a state of chaos and unless a miracle happens its not likely to get any better until sometime after we play bama.

Our program is in the state of Tennessee, where is this Chaos you speak of?? and don't give up before the miracle, that's just stupid.

That could be but maybe I don't talk/type enough, did you ever think of that???

sorry but me. I have been calling for his inept head since 2000 and people thought i was crazy- sorry he didn't prove me wrong. He has always sucked even in 1998.

2000 might have been a little too soon. I was calling for it back around last year, after the UF game. That was the tipping point for me. I stopped being a Fulmerite after that.

i don't ever remember this series being friendly.
Never, ever has it been friendly. Bammers hate UT more because of Phil, and most Bammers are looking forward to the inevitable termination of the biggest thorn in their side in decades, with respect to Tubbs. I'd say it's pretty even, but since I'm casting the deciding vote.....Phil, don't you like fishing?

and people thought i was crazy-

People still do.

He has always sucked even in 1998.

Perhaps you would reveal a bit more about how you arrive at that conclusion.

Phil, don't you like fishing?

Nope, he gave up fishing after Bill Dance welched on his promise to have Randy Sanders on his show.

Now maybe Dance could get Majors on his show since he has known him since childhood and Johnny has a lot of time on his hands these days anyway. Probably not a good idea though, more than likely they would have to spend forty five minutes of an hour show untangling one of Johnny's back lashes.

seems to me he has always had or at least after his first year jmajors just get by philosophy which is what i dislike the most and what i love about steve s is he is going to beat the hell out of you if he can
when you hold back your horses you ask for trouble i have said for years if phil beats you it will prob be by 3 or less
will someone start a thread for me i can't find the button "I AM SO PROUD OF VANDY"

those 2 passes were a thing of beauty
thanks go vols phil PLEASEEE leave...

he said it better than i can : "we didn't suddenly become stupid" no it was always that way and proven by the next 10 yrs... best stats: phil's record vs top 10 teams, record vs active sec coaches who have won a national championship: pitiful. I LOVE TENN I LIKE PHIL and I wish he would recruit FOREVER but he CANNOT coach GO VOLS...Cutclif would be huge improvement FOSTER should be on bench.

I recall Bama/Tenn games back into the 1950's and up until the early 80's, you may not call them "friendly" but there was a great deal of mutual respect. Coach Bryant measured his players by the Tennessee game, and I understand Gen. Neyland used to do that with Alabama. There were no excuses for getting beat, just "We will get your ... next year!" I regret the changes over the past several years.

It's an old habit, that's the way it's done in some quarters.

I think that has less to do with Tennessee - Alabama and more to do with changes in society as a whole.

Right now, for me, an old school Tennessee fan, this perverse mantra; "lose now for a better future" smells of putrid rotting burnt brain flesh that has been singed by the inhalation of substances best avoided by sane rational people.

"Tennessee sophomores don't deserve citizenship
papers until they have survived an Alabama game."
