No program outside of a Community College should considers Gillispie as an option for a coaching vacancy. He's proven to be the basketball version of Mike Leach.

You are naive to think someone from Villanova or Gonzaga would come to UT. Tennessee is not a top 40 job in the country..

If you look at the facilities why wouldn't they? It's on its way up w/ Bruce. I'd say its more of an attractive hire than it was 4 years ago

these are the same people that thought the football program would rot once Fulmer left.

how could basketball go on after Pearl? just shut it down, and get out the baby blue and orange, because the only bball that will survive is the lady vols.

and God forbid what happens to that program when Summit finally hangs it up.

the only thing the TBA will be good for after that is Monster Truck rallies and boat shows.

Anything less that Billy Clyde and I walk....the guy can coach. Or...Sean Miller...but X is probably a better job than UT...though I don't know how much they can pay him there.

I would trade Pearl for Miller in a heartbeat.

But Gillispie?!? The guy just got fired for being a weirdo that can't coach or recruit on the big stage.
