I never thought I’d say this but Bama. At this point does it matter if they win another one? I mean they’re probably going to win 2-3 more before he retires. OSU fans are the most boorish people that I’ve ever encountered in my life. I never want anything good to happen for them. And I also don’t want the B10 rewarded for how they handled themselves this season.

I respect Alabama more than Ohio State. Their road to the Finals was much tougher and it's not just this year, although C19 did exacerbate it. I get tired of Ohio State playing one or two tough games in conference year after year and then claiming a spot in the final four.

Ohio State has sixteen 5* recruits. The rest of the Big Ten combined has 10:

So much so that Ohio State has far more five-star commitments or signees over the last five classes than the rest of the Big Ten combined. The Buckeyes have 16, including three so far this cycle in offensive lineman

Other than Ohio State’s 16 five-stars over the last five cycles, Michigan has five, Penn State three and then Maryland and Iowa one each.

It's not like recruiting in the SEC

Bama.

As above, OSU is THE team in the B1G just like Clemson is THE team in the ACC. Truthfully Bama is THE team in the SEC but the parity in the SEC is a little better than the B1G and ACC.

GA and FL somewhat routinely keep Bama on their toes. Somewhat. And..... an SEC win is better than a B1G win, any day.

...and LSU with Auburn and Texas ATM being in the picture long term as a hurdle for Alabama.

think VN knows my favorite days came on those distant days when we rolled the tide on some place other than the bball court

but will have to watch game w/ wife (bama grad) and son (who disappointed mom by going out=of state for his collegiate degrees) and keeps a bama flag flying at his home...

all ok when he started life as a duke fan ....but we wound up moving from NC to a plbearace not far from sabanbearburgh

itd be nice now if i could turn his two boys into Vol fans

Ohio state all the way. We have to compete head to head with bama for recruits regionally and of course play them every year. It obviously doesn’t matter who we root for as that’ll have no impact on the result (lol)...but it’s definitely better for us to have Ohio state win.

I despise OSU. Adding insult to injury my doucher of a brother in law is a hardcore F*ckeye . I hate to say it but since I want Bama taken down a peg whenever possible I will have to pull for OSU for once 🤢. I’m sick of OSU too but nowhere near as sick as I am of the Gumps led by the mayor of the lollipop guild. I think Bama will likely win but OSU seemed like they were on a mission to silence the critics of their playoff presence and if the same team that came out tonight shows up for the championship game then Bamas going to have a hell of a fight on their hands .

The SEC team,

With that said. Trey Sermon is doing a damn fine Zeke Elliott 2014 impersonation right now and
Justin Fields is throwing like Cordale Jones and running like Braxton Miller.
Their defense is playing real fast and physical.

Not sure who's going to win. I kind of feel like OSU will, but Bama is playing complete ball now.

Hating Bama is never a bad thing, but if you
look at the success and consistency that they have had over the last decade+, I can’t imagine this game having enough impact to influence a recruit.
