Hawaii should play OSU. I do not care that they play in a sad conference. UGA should not go just like Nebraska should not have played in the title gamea few years ago when they did not win their conference. I see LSU hopping over UGA anyway to take the #2 spot. Playoff please. I mean really, what team is playing the best football right now? OSU? Hell no. LSU? Hell no. Oklahoma? Maybe. UGA? Maybe. Kansas? Maybe. Hawaii? Probably. Would they get killed by OSU? Doubt it. But give these teams a fair shot instead of some computer geek that may not have ever watched a game having the upper hand in the process.

Oklahoma beat the apparent number 1 twice this year.....I don't agree for a second that Mizzou was the best team in the country they just carried the number for a week....I agree that LSU should get a shot at it but, I just think the way the voters go will either be OK or UGA....Sad but true...

This is ridiculous! UGA is #4 (based on votes) and the Herb-meister and others are practically begging for voters to disregard their last week's votes and send LSU on thru! NO! they voted this way, so it is what it is! UGA is #4 and deserves a shot based on how the idiots voted. If LSU jumps up 4+ spots, then I say LSU shouldn't have been voted down that many spots after the Arkansas loss.

Also, what is with the stat of 12 top 5 teams going down to unranked? Is it that the season is hokey, the teams are more even, or that polls are useless?

I am excited just to be in the mentioning of things. If we get jumped then I can definatley understand the decision of the voters. The only problem that I have is that this is the system they have used and although it is flawed it is the system. Thats how OU and Neb got to play after losing their conference. Hopefully this mess can help lead us to a playoff system. But USC vs UGA would be a great matchup. If us Dawg fans want to be considered with the best then we have to play with them and USC in the Rose would be a tremendous honor.

I'm sorry, but if UGA goes to the NC game, then it will be the biggest disgrace to a NC game in the history of college football. In no way should Ga get a bye into the national championship or go ahead of LSU, who won the conference. Georgia doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the NC game over VaTech, Okla, or LSU.

Just had to get that out.

No they don't. But at the same time it shouldn't be decided by a bunch of computer geeks setting around a laptop. That right there is the biggest joke of all.

Fade, If i were a UGA fan I'd rather face USC as an underdog than play Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl. With Hawaii you would get absolutely no credit for a win, but eternal derision would follow a loss. There's nothing to gain for any BCS school that plays the Rainbow Warriors.
