Fuente is my guess. He would be a fantastic pick in my opinion.

I could definitely get on board with him. Just a question though. It seems the last couple of years that coordinators are taking over and becoming really good.

Smart at GA
Herman at Houston and now Texas
Riley at Oklahoma

To name a few that would be next to be really good IMHO.
Aranda
Pruitt
Venables

While I don't believe it will be Petrino we definitely could do a lot worse. I have always loved his offense.

That’s what we need someone with previous character issues, I’m probably in the minority but it’s not worth it just for wins

In my 11+ years of posting this is my first poll so humor me here Nation. Vote for who you think will be walking the sidelines for us in 2018. If your guy isn't listed post him.

If I threw down a 20 right now my bet is Mullen.

Sweet 1st poll Duncan. My bet is Les. he beat sabin and has big ring why not?

Damn, I thought we were past seriously saying it would be Gruden but I was underestimating Volnation. GRUDEN IS NOT COACHING AGAIN. PERIOD!

Curt Mallory, the 0-7 coach of Indiana State. The only coach that UT has easily defeated this year.

Patterson and Chryst will not leave current jobs.

Gruden, Kelly and Miles will not return to coaching.

Mullen and Venables are solid options for top tier coaches.

Satterfield Fleck should've been on the list.

I still favor Tee Martin or Frank Wilson.

Jon: He's not leaving a cushion for a sideline
Chip: To much money. To much control. To many egos
Gary: He's nearly 60 he's not leaving to start over
Dan: This is the guy I want at Tennessee but if Florida couldn't Tennessee can't
Jeff: This is a typical Tennessee hire
Mike: No
Paul: What he's done hasn't impressed me
Les : He in my opinion is the next HC at Tennessee
Brent: He's not leaving until Dabo does

I don't understand the interest in Less Miles, a guy fired for stubborn refusal to alter an ineffective offense, given everyone's frustration with Butchs stubborn refusal to alter his losing offense. Why recycle other schools failures?

Miles had several 10 plus win seasons, your guy dan had 1 10-3 with Dak at QB and several 7-5 8-4, so why him??
PS, I don't want either one

Frost
Fuentes
Novell (played WR, our weakest link, in college and is doing great things at Memphis)

Currie's legacy depends on this hire. $$ won't be an issue ... Saban and Vol fan base will be.

Gruden talk is aligned with fantasy land and East Tennessee opiod epidemic, IMHO.

Tee Martin is way overrated as OC. They were embarrassed last night.

Miles is too old and odd. Kelly is a cheating ego maniac. Patterson and Peterson happy where they are. Mullin won't come here and still have to face Saban every year with Georgia coming up the ranks.

It's Frost, Fuentes or Norvell.
