Was curious what everyone thought about the potential success this season of these two transfers. Which do you believe will have the better year, and why? Jalen Hurts at Oklahoma or Kelly Bryant at Missouri. Go.
Would it be a surprise if Hurts won the Heisman Trophy? An Oklahoma QB has won the award 4 times in the last 16 seasons. It is a given that he will have big numbers (rushing and passing) in that conference.
Hurts has better skill players around him but what makes this question even more intriguing is that neither is a great passer and you have to be a high quality passer in the OU scheme. Mizzou has been preparing now for a year or so with recent QB pickups to alter their offense to a DT QB skill set. OU already has that in place but both Mayfield and Murray can chunk the ball with accuracy and zip and not sure Hurts has that figured out yet. This feels like a toss up and, no disrespect to Hurts because he is following in two Heisman winner's footsteps, but it feels like OU will be a little bit down this year.

Just read an online article where HC at OU says he may not decide who his QB starter is after leaving training camp. He's got a RS frosh along with a highly touted true frosh going to get quality reps in order to decide. If you're Jalen Hurts that cannot give you a warm fuzzy feeling.
