You do realize that 2nd round picks don't get guaranteed contracts. It would be one thing if Stokes was a 22 year old junior, but I'm under the impression that he is till pretty young since he graduated high school early anyway.
His choice is to either stay at U.T. finish up his degree (if he hasn't already) be a B.M.O.C., and work on his jumper...or get bounced around the D-League and maybe be forced to live in Ft. Wayne or some other remote outpost. If he is an early 2nd round pick in the most loaded draft in recent memory, he should be a 1st round pick next season.
