Who will be the most talented team...

what about Mcniel at center he is probably the best in the conference. Quaterback ainge is the best in the conference. Tandem of Cottam and Brown is probably best in the conference at TE. Hefney may be the best safety in the conference.

We lack on the right side of the offensive line defensive tackle and and end.
Tennessee should hold its own with talent in the sec.

No one.

IMO, there is no team that is heads and shoulders above the rest.

With the right luck or closing ability by players, UT/UF/UGA could win the East...and AU/UA/LSU could win the West....

6 teams with legit chances means, IMO, that the talent gap is not that far if noticeable within them.
don't forget USC......i dont' know that they're ready to win the East much less the SEC.....but something tells me that they are at some point going to start winning some of these close games they've been losing of late......enough to maybe cause a big problem at the end of the season.......kind of like ARK last season.....

We have heard this for their last 100 years of football.

Until USC actually does it, I am not going to put them in it.
i've been in that same boat with them for a while now too.......but at this point, they've gotten some recruits in there, Spurrier has more of his type players now.....

and they really were not that far away last season.....they could just as well be 7-5 this year as they could 9-3.......either way, i won't be surprised.

USC, Bama, and Arky all have about the same amount of talent. Which isn't saying much.

Arky is full of defectors and their best players are in NFL as of the weekend.

USC is well, USC. There best player was Sydney Rice - need I say more?

Bama is in a slow tail spin started by Logan Young. They are hoping CNS can pull 'em out, but they just don't have electric players. I know VinA and Justin think they do (and I they are right on most of the time), but I just don't see it looking at their roster. Outside of Castille and Prothro I'd be hard pressed to see anyone on their roster I'd take. Prince Hall is good, but I'd rather have our guys.

Arkansas's best players are in the NFL? MacFadden, Monk and Jones would disagree

Bama's offense will be good next year. They'll have the best WR duo in the SEC as well as a pretty damn good QB

I love DMac. But I think he was aided greatly by an outstanding O-line that got little media credit. I mean Arky was plain dreadful at QB but it was covered up by the line. Monk has size, but ehhh, something about him has slacker written all over it.

I take issue with calling JPW a pretty good QB. He's gutsy, but he's not great. He can't scramble and had a 16:9 TD to INT ratio after starting all games last year. Maybe he'll blow up this year (like EA did his JR year).

I agree on Arkansas's line being good, but McFadden is an unbelievable TB. He's special.

Monk made Wade look like a schoolgirl last year and that was with broken ribs.

JPW played behing one of the worst OL's in the SEC last year. He didn't have much of a running game behind him and he still managed to play well.

So their going to have to win at Georgia, Baton Rouge, Knoxville and Fayetteville.

There are at least 2 SEC losses right there.

Obviously Florida will be tough.

They are going to have to out score Kentucky to win that one.

That is a very tough stretch of football.

Not looking good Cocks lovers
