I think Mike Leach would actually be a great hire...my main concern with him would be recruiting. But if he has the talent, I believe he can put together an unstoppable offense. I guess another concern would be defense. And no, not really concerned about his player discipline/disagreements with the administration.

I wouldn't mind Kirby Smart, but how do we know it is an upgrade? He isn't proven as a HC.

And no, Dooley is definitely not going anywhere (not saying he should). He could lose every single game the rest of the season and he will be here for next year. Hart is going to be real reluctant in making a big decision like firing the head football coach.

brady hoke at michigan has that program headed in the right direction. there are more coaches like him but can't remember them all that are outperforming dooley and they are in there either 1st or 2nd year!! doolet needs to go. hire urban meyer as head coach!!:thumbsup:

Urban would NEVER come to UT. I would love to see him as the vols head coach, but it is never going to happen.
