Who was the rat?

I would trust Leach or Doeren running a program before I would Kiffin.

I mention Leach or Doeren because we actually had fans that protested the possibility of those two being hired as head coach. Well, those fans got their wish I guess.
I don't trust either of them.

Why wouldn't he do it? It all but guarantee's UT is buried for the length of his tenure. PLUS He's a grade A pansy, doesn't care for Pruitt encroaching into Georgia, and he gave him a run for his money on his top recruit with a McDonald's bag.
Honestly, Kirby pushed Beldar's shite in as bad on the recruiting trail as he did the football field.

Seriously? This is going on at literally every major program around the country.

Evidently these folks were not smart enough to not leave trails that could be documented. The investigators are collecting not creating the evidence. I am anxious to see the methods referenced to hide the problems from view. I am most curious as to the length of the timeline that is involved. From day 1 or just later in their tenure as the pressure got turned up. The shorter the better.

No. They hire top law firms, roll over, and throw themselves on the sword to get ahead of something they believe is going to be exposed anyway. However, had the team had a winning record? Who knows with this bunch? Personally, there are only three things this bunch knows about integrity: The spelling, pronunciation, and definition. The application? Child, please.
And with what school has this worked? What I see is Deny, Deny, and Delay and receive no punishment like LSU and NC. Everyone who's fallen on their sword got what they self imposed and more....nobody gets off except the ones who fight tooth and nail. Pruitt and staff might have screwed up attempting to follow the GA and Bama models (Pruitt learned at both) but Plowman doomed us with the admission in a press conference. We hired idiot lawyers, should have hired the NC group.

yes he did. But i guarantee Kirby didn't like any threat to his program, albeit small and insignificant. With any real success, and a bigger McD's bag of course, Pruitt may have taken the top 2 prospects in GA right out from under him (Smael and Mims). He couldn't afford to let that happen or keep happening.

Also I am surprised anyone's defending Kirby. What an odd stance to take

They'd have took our money and signed with UGA, just like Darnell Washington and numerous other prospects have. That's just facts. I certainly wouldn't put it past Kirby to have ratted us out, but all signs point to this being an internal whistleblower right now.

So what happens to all the players that took a payout? Both those at UT and those elsewhere. Will they have to serve suspensions or become ineligable?

If it was Kirby, it would beg an investigation of UGA as to how they beat the cash offer given to Mims, right?

For that reason, I don’t think it’s Kirby, but he’s my favorite in Super Smash Bros.

your opinions being factual frightens and confuses me

You can't be serious? Do you really think recruits go to Clemson for the barbeques and family atmosphere? No good will come from this other than a new coach, we were better off just buying him out. This is a disaster.
How is it a disaster? Have you not seen our record and our play? I mean if you are going to suck might as well get rid of the coach and save some money. The disaster is shelling out all that money for paid athletes and still having one of the worst records in the SEC. JP might have earned a buyout if he had won but his inability to win with the type of recruiting efforts proves he was and is not HC material!

Pansy? How did Pruitt encroach? During his tenure UGA finished #1, #2, and #1 in recruiting.

Like it or not, Pruitt was pretty close to landing several players that Kirby Dumb wanted (Mondon, Mims most recently). Had they not crapped the bed in Athens, lost his **** vs Kensucky, and lost his players and possibly his coaching staff in the process, who knows? You can always look back in hindsight and see that UT was not going to be worth a crap. But you gotta admit, there was reason for concern before the events unfolded the way they have, specifically at halftime in Athens. That was October 10. Amarius Mims committed shortly after that. The investigation started in November. Them's all facts.

Or don't admit it. That's ok too. But don't come on here acting like Kirby wouldn't defend his own program and encroachment of his territory if it came down to it. Also he's a Grade A Pansy because he cant get out of his won way and still finds ways to lose a game or two that he has no business losing. Best roster in CFB not named Bama, still craps the bed when it matters most.

There is dumb, then there is dumb as dirt.
