Whoever the rat was they obviously gave verifiable and indisputable evidence. You don't hire the top law firm for this kind of stuff than roll over and throw yourself on the sword without an official NCAA investigation. They should have stonewalled the NCAA so it must be pretty bad.

If it's cash pay, why would any player acknowledge this, to end his college career. And if not owned up to, then no proof.

No. These violations were committed by this staff while recruiting. Guarantano was already here.

It's possible but they were emphatic that it was limited to the coaches who were fired and not linked to previous coaches.
The sad thing is we went to the Bama method (bags of cash) and he still recruited worse than Butch.
