Nah. Just a theory, but I think the reason Fulmer “retired” is because he was backing Pruitt up to the very end, so they said “you save face and retire, or we’re letting you go. You choose.” My guess is Tee Martin. He’s a VFL, would know what’s going on or at least be able to highly suspect it, and they’d trust him. My other guess would be Chaney. He’s the OC, he’s probably the most respected member of the coaching staff, and he’s in a high enough position that he’d know or catch wind about it all. Plus, he worked at UGA and probably has some dirt on them too. If Mims was getting the special treatment here and still went to UGA, you connect the dots...It could have been Fulmer.
JG fo sho! He is a biatch. Watching him pout on the sideline when he got benched is all i needed to see.
It’s mind blowing that they could be so arrogant and careless with this stuff. Just pathetic with their approach and how open they were with things. SloppyI think it’s more complicated than that. The original issue involved Mims. Someone in player relations shined a light on that. They interviewed him, and his family and opposing teams coaches involved in his recruitment. They uncovered not only those infractions, but a pattern. It isn’t fair to blame Mims, his family, other coaches, or our coaches who answered honestly. Blame Nieds. Blame Felton. Nieds was out of control. He was throwing parties. He had regular party room at a local hotel, and handed out money to recruits through our own players, from what I’ve heard.
This is completely inaccurate. The chancellor did not saw if it was inside or outside, only that it was a very credible source. It doesn’t matter who the source is because it’s over. You cannot make enemies throughout the entire program, continue to make poor coaching decisions, continue to get blown out by everyone, and expect to keep your job. Pruitt and Fuller should’ve been fired regardless of the findings in any investigation. The Chancellor said in the presser it was someone outside the program. I think it was Kirby Smart after Mims chose Georgia and spilled the beans on what's going on at UT.
[/QUOTE]I’ve edited this post a couple of times, but also have other accounts of this issue floating around the site. I’ve gotten more clarity on the issue, and added the observation that someone inside did indeed share information with Plowman. After that, the matter regarding Mims was answered in a way that revealed many more similar issues. I’m getting this info third hand, and it involves reputations, and individual accounts about an ongoing investigation. I’m going to refrain from further commentary until the dust settles. I was (at the least) partially incomplete in my first account regarding the source of the first leak. There are too many moving parts to follow this one. As I’ve heard more, The sums of money, and sloppiness of the whole thing make me want to take a step back. I’ll try to provide useful info on the search for coaches and AD, but I’m going to quit being a private detective on the investigation. In summary, I’ll say that the key takeaway is that we were so egregious there will be no way for the ncaa to go easy on us.
It could be or not. Don't think we will everThis was what I was thinking. JG or his dad says to the coach "I know what is going on so my son needs to be the QB" Just A thought. JG got so much special treatment. I dont think he could have started for Maryville HS.
