Fulmer's fault. Neither should have been playing, especially Foster at a goaline. (FYI, I think Foster is a great back, just don't trust him near a goaline)

I guess it depends on whether you classify the play as a handoff or a pitch!

Are you kidding me? Crompton held the ball out there and just let go!

In Fulmer's press conference today he seemed to indicate that it was Arian's fault.

While Crompton sucks, anybody that looks at that play can clearly see that Arian Foster didn't open his arms until Crompton was actually trying to hand him the ball, and Arian did not raise his right elbow in time. That is the reason that the ball went off his elbow. The ball was placed precisely where it was supposed to be placed. Unfortunately, Arian's elbow was still there. The fumble was 100% Arian's fault. The rest of the game was Crompton's fault.

. . .when a running back approaches the QB for a handoff he is already looking at the line for creases and daylight!! (Assuming of course, that the RB is running the play in the proper direction!) It is the QB's job to place the ball in his belly between the upper and lower arms. The ball was placed too high and bounced off the top arm before it was actually fumbled. I would say that is more Crompton's fault than Arian's but there is no "I" in team!

The ball wasn't placed too high. The ball was placed precisely where it was supposed to go. However, Arian never bothered to raise his right elbow, leaving no place to stick the ball. This play was Arian's fault.

It looked as if they were both at fault a bit.

Fulmer said it goes on Arian and I'll take his word for it because I'm sure he spoke to both of them about it.

At first, I thought Foster and Crompton should share the blame. But, then I looked at the replay on MyVLT2, and Crompton just dropped it in front of him, not even giving Arian a chance to F it up.

It was absolutely Crompton..If you watch the replay you will see that the qb did not look the ball in...

There are a bunch of blind individuals on this board. Crompton didn't drop anything. He didn't toss the ball at Foster either. Foster didn't raise his right arm early enough, and as a result, his elbow was precisely where the ball is supposed to be placed. As a result, Crompton hits Foster's elbow with the ball. This was 100% Foster's fault, and everyone associated with the team (except a number of its blind fans) has acknowledged this fact.

I thought the qb learned in PeeWee League that when the running back has his arms open,(as Foster did) the qb is suppose to put the ball in there,in the gut.

Did we all not agree that the QB has to "Look" the ball into the RB's breadbasket? Check out JC's eyes on this one!!!???

Caught ya!!

The first rule for a Quarterback is:

LOOK THE BALL INTO THE POCKET

The First Rule for a Running Back

Get the Ball in the Pocket and Lock it in
