Crompton, took his eyes off him before the ball was in Foster's arm

I wish that Phil was an option in the voting. After all the previous hand off fumbles, the two players shouldn't be allowed to leave the practice field without perfecting the play. SLOPPY FOOTBALL.

Crompton's footwork caused him to have to reach too far and he could not get the ball in Foster's chest.

In Fulmer's press conference today he seemed to indicate that it was Arian's fault.

I didn't watch this, but apparently it was pretty bad by Crompton because the vast majority is picking him.

Crompton hit Foster in the elbow, it wasn't even close. And like Freak said Fulmer seemed to have indicate that it was Foster's fault plus it didn't seem like he got too many snaps in the 2nd half. There is no way that one is on Foster though

. . .when a running back approaches the QB for a handoff he is already looking at the line for creases and daylight!! (Assuming of course, that the RB is running the play in the proper direction!) It is the QB's job to place the ball in his belly between the upper and lower arms. The ball was placed too high and bounced off the top arm before it was actually fumbled. I would say that is more Crompton's fault than Arian's but there is no "I" in team!

According to the broadcasters it was Crompton's fault. If you watch it again, notice Cromptons head. He wasn't even looking where he placed the ball. Foster had his arms open, what else could he do?

on the Phillip Fulmer show, CPF said that is was Fosters fault, but as i replayed that particular play yesterday it sure looked like it was cromptons fault. To me it looked like Foster had his arms open enough to fit two footballs in there.

-Disclaimer-
I played youth league and high school football, so what do I know

Unless Arian agreed to fall on a grenade. It is obvious to everyone that Crompton is at fault. Fulmer owes Arian an apology. He is giving into the criticism that Foster has a fumble problem.

Both are upperclassmen in skill positions, both knew the field position they were standing on at the time, as well as the score and time left in the game was critcal it's both their faults.

I agree 100%. There's no point in analyzing it or assigning blame beyond that.
