Who was it for you?

I agree they changed music but I am saying there were better bands during that era.

By what measure? Technical ability? Hits? I'm not saying you're wrong. I freely admit Pearl Jam is a better band.

Nirvana is a little more personal for me. Their rise and fall was from 1990-1994. The formative Modbock years.

Yeah not many selling points on good ole cassettes..Now I have my entire music library in my pocket. Crazy how far that has come in a short amount of time

Machinehead was my favorite off Sixteen Stone but I had graduated to CDs by 1995. (as had most humans)

The last new cassette I purchased was Tom Petty-Full Moon Fever.

Young Scotty Flat's Top was ten. Couldn't convince my old man to break down the 120 bones for a cd player.

There's one that was before my time, but wished it wasn't. (Musically speaking)..

Surprised no one has mentioned Elvis or Ray Charles.

Hank Williams was amazing.. Timeless voice.

Elvis' death shook the world.. From what I have read and heard and from how everyone mourns his death all these years later
