Who was in Neyland Stadium when this happened

Was there for both and behind the goal post missed by Florida. Was part of the hundreds carrying the goal post until my wife started screaming she was getting trampled (wimp). Then went to other end to torment FL band.

During Arkansas game I was sitting in the section bordering Arkansas fans in the upper deck. There was trash talk by both sides entire game. They were ruthless near the end and fights were breaking out in the bathrooms...then the fumble. Awesome! The walk back to the tailgate site was as electrifying as after the Florida game. I was completely spent after both games.

I was there, one of my best Tennessee football memories along with witnessing us win at the swamp in 2001. I wasn't at Neyland for the stumble/fumble.

I was just to the left of the field goal post..... My phone and camera went flying! My brother still has a piece of the field in his freezer!

GO BIG ORANGE!

I was there for the UF game. I was living in Raleigh at the time. I drove over Thursday night, played golf with a bunch of buddies at Avalon on Friday, then tailgated and partied all day on Sat. before the game. Sat in K, I believe.

It was my freshman year at UT. I had student seats in the upper deck, but still made it down to the field after the game. It was a magical night.

I was there for Arkansas. Never get tired of talking about that game. That last drive when Henry and the O-line went full beast mode...heck, I think they skipped it and went god mode. They weren't going to be stopped and everybody knew it. The D knew it, the O-line knew it, Henry knew it, the fans knew it, and most of all, the Arkansas defense knew it.

FL Failed Kick - YouTube

This along with the Stumble Fumble was the craziest I have ever seen Neyland Stadium get.

Awww Memories:rock:

My wife was a Master's student at UT at the time, so we went to all the home games and sat in the student section. We were in section E or F on the 9th or 11th row (and in the other seats for the Arkansas game).

I joined the madness on the field and got to the south end goal post just in time to grab it before it came down. I held onto it until we carried it out of the stadium. Awesome! :loco:

We also got to go to the National Chamionship game in Tempe!

There for NO...SIR...REE

Remember before Tee made his scramble in OT and we were backed up on the outer edge of FG range someone behind me in the stands saying "we just can't beat FL!"

Great memory

1998 was a great year to be a Tennessee student. Aside from all the great games, all the student tickets were....free. :)

I was there for the stumbled and fumbled game and John Ward was telling everyone on the radio that if they had left the stadium not to come back because they would not be allowed back in.
You never, NEVER leave a game till its over, win or lose.
