The TV coverage showed Cut many times. He did not have his normal book of pics and plays in front of him. He seemed very relaxed and talking on his headset. I think other or others were calling some plays. Does anyone know anything about this?

I don't know about it, but I thought Cut looked 'out to lunch'.......somewhat detached, maybe thinking about Duke.

No, but Cut was calling the plays. You can bet your bottom dollar that if he wasn't going to be calling plays, he would be in Durham instead of wasting his time being a spectator to a game that means nothing to him.

I don't know how anyone saw that. He was sitting at his spot in the booth. Cut knows his playbook. Trooper was shown coaching his receivers over and over.

I wonder if the Duke officials were impressed with Cut's wonderful calls?

Dude, anything done at our level is an improvement at Duke. Cut is boring, but he'll help that program, don't fool yourself.

I think Duke fans would, if there are any, would have heartburn after viewing that game.

it was the same calls he's made all year. How many times is this thread going to get retread?

All he did differently was occasionally use the GGun. It was at bad times, but it's no surprise that our coaches don't know how to use trick plays. It's a learning process for them.

I was not thinking Troop. Who was sitting in front of him Luke or Roper? I dunno but Cut usually reads pics and other material to help him in calling the plays and he was just freestyling or someone else was calling some plays with him.

The first year at the job is always the toughest isn't it.

everytime i've seen them show Cut he had squat in front of him. He looks at how the D lines up, radios the call down and makes the play.

I don't know why so many Vol fans 'worshipped' Cutcliffe. Vanilla is good, but not every day.

turn the caps lock off chandler. No reason to try to type everything in capital letters. It won't let you do that anyway.

I don't think anyone "worshipped" him so to speak, but you have to remember his skills as an OC are skewed b/c what alot of folks remembered of him were years with Peyton, and he makes any OC look good.

just trying to help you out chandler. It looks a little weird having every first letter capitalized, but if you like it, go for it.

It's not snowing here yet. They are calling for it though.

And it makes it a lot easier to read. Thanks.
