Who wants to take a shot at the offense depth chart?

Who would be your starting 5 at OL next year as of now?
I’m up in the air about it. I think Cade is probably the best o lineman but I’m not sure he’s a tackle. I’m sure little bro will be at center and Cade will be at guard. I think we better dig into the bench tbh because on paper? There is no fool proof plan

I understand that everyone is a person and carries a lot of things with them. On the surface of social media it seems like he’s a very emotional guy who is always wearing his emotions on his sleeve, whether it be about football or social issues. It seems like he is very involved in social stuff.
I don’t do Instagram or anything else but Twitter. He doesn’t post much on there but I don’t doubt he’s active. Emotional? Hell yeah he is. He plays the game that way and that’s what a lot of people love about him. I personally think it’s great to see from that position. He’s a natural leader and he’s going to tell you if you’re screwing up as well as praise you when things go well. And it doesn’t matter who you are.

I think we will see some surprises on offense next season. Our offense was so anemic that having an offensive-minded head coach should reveal some hidden gems.

Velus Jones will have 800 yards receiving.
Jalin Hyatt will have a 1,000.

Dee Beckwith could really become a threat.
500 yards rushing 500 yards receiving type guy

We badly need an average starting LT from the transfer market somewhere. It'll make or break this OL. Mays is no LT or even RT for that matter. I'd love to see:

LT - TBD
LG - Calbert
C - Mays
RG - Mays
RT - Darnell

Spraggins first one off the bench. Those starting 4 should be serviceable enough. To me, it felt like we had an overall decent OL year in the run game given the lack of a passing game most of the season.
The problem is you left off Carvin who is probably the 2nd-3rd most talented olineman on the team. He is also the nastiest olineman on the team. I know some think he should be the center but his style of play screams road grader at guard. At 6-5 325lbs Calbert is the proto-type tackle you are looking for. U dont neccessarily need a transfer to start at tackle when u have a tackle that has played 32 career games. I remember him starting at RT during that winning streak in 2019 and he looked really good. IMHO we should start Calbert-LT, Cade-LG, Cooper-C, Carvin-RG, & Wright-RT. I would also like to see Cooper & Spraggins compete for that center spot. Spraggins, Locklear, & Lampley give u a solid 8 players. Ollie, Robinson, Crawford, Perry gives u numbers. I will have to give Pruitt credit, all of these guys fit the bill physically as far as size when it comes to SEC trenches. I believe our oline can have a big season just based off natural running lanes in the system, and getting the ball out quicker. I honestly have no concerns as far as the oline goes bc everyone that has a real chance at starting has played in multiple games.

You're right. I had Calbert and Carvin mixed up. I know the OL struggled a bit in pass protection last year but I was really impressed overall. We were able to run the ball in most games, which is very hard to do when the D knows you can't throw or won't throw. They have some talent. It's all about finding a solid LT. The other pieces are in play.

I agree LT and RT are key ..especially LT .... hopefully we have someone step up and take control there ... and is quck enough to handle some of these edge rushers to keep our QB's upright ...

I'm most excited to see what Jalin Hyatt can do in a well functioning pass offense. He showed some flashes last season, even while being held back in that abomination of a Pruitt controlled offensive game plan; he's definitely got the hands and speed.

Most explosive weapon on the team and they couldn’t figure out how to get the ball to him consistently 😩

I think the QB situation will be between
Hooker and Bailey with Hooker winning it.

Fun fact to gauge

Eric Gray had 772 yards on 157 attempts
Hooker had 508 yards running on 85 attempts
Both split playing time with others

The dudes legs are a problem. From what I've watched he can make all the throws too.
From everything I've read from the media and message boards, he has accuracy issues, especially with the deep ball.

I really like this post. Carvin would have to be somewhere in my starting 5.

wasn't wrong on BM's abilities or your qb coaching abilities. hmmm......
Let’s test your theory.

Did you not predict him to be 4th on the DC last year behind JG? If I remember correctly, in spite of what the depth chart read, he was the #2 all year long until it became a political stunt for Pruitt to TRY and save his job (the fans wanted Bailey) In fact very few know BM was your starter prior to tAm before it originally got postponed. Until then the depth chart was
1) JG
2) BM
3) JTS
4) HB
Which is interesting because that’s the exact order I said to expect prior to kickoff 2020.

Your prediction: (correct me if I’m wrong)
1) JG/HB
2)
3) JTS
4) BM
So there’s my “abilities” as you put it. While you’re at it, How about you look up my evaluation of HB while he was still a senior in HS. You may find it shocking.
So please tell me and anyone else listening to your BS where you THINK you were right on ANYTHING you wrote above when you’ve been wrong every single time you’ve given an opinion on his abilities or my own.

Man we are really young on offense! If they stick and improve we may be on to something!

And did all those QBs play more than him, yes or no? We got stats proving now......so be careful how you answer since ur throwing accusations around.
