I always pull for the SEC team in post season.

In most cases yes....but I wouldn't pull for Bama if they were playing for a United States gold medal. I mean that to the core. I don't like the Irish either, but I'll pull for them. If they win, I won't have to listen to all the obnoxious Bama fans during the off season. I live near the state line, and believe me....they come out of the wood work as long as they're winning.

I do not understand the "root for the SEC" argument. Would a Red Sox fan root for the Yankees? A Redskins fan root for the Cowboys?

I root for two SEC teams, UT and LSU (because I went to both schools and thankfully they are on opposite sides of the toughest Conference in the land) and that's it. Since I was born here in VolNation, if ever the two should meet, my blood runs Orange.
