Who turned the corner on Dooley today?

I turned today. Sort of. I might come back to the Dool side if he fires Sal before Monday.

Buddy, if you think the stench in this game was only from bad defensive coaching, I'm not sure you were paying attention very well. It was bad. Really bad. I promise. I'm not kidding even a little bit. It was horrible. Seriously. For cereal. Honestly.

I turned the corner! I have tried to be very metered with my critism, but this has now past the point of inexcusable.

I don't know where the money is going to come from, I just hope it comes from somewhere …

I was on the fence. The decision to sit on two timeouts and head to overtime was the coup de grace for me. There was literally no reason not to attempt to score at the end of regulation. No. Reason. Whatsoever.

And yet Dooley sat on those timeouts in an effort to head to O.T. Newsflash, the defense is still horrible. Going to OT is not in the best interest of this team. It's not arguable.

same boat here. today was the day i decided we should get rid off dooley.

Dooley just earned himself the #1 position on ESPN Not Top 10 with his ridiculous send it to OT crap.He gave Dave Hart the middle finger with that maneuver and dared him to fire him.

My mind was made up with the end of the 4th quarter and the play calling in OT. I guess before that point I was wanting to keep him bc he is a classy and like able person. Now...I just want to see him peaceably move on and wish him the best. I want to move on and see a top hire coach and to see our fan base show class in the coaching change process. I want to see UT recruit some solid talent the next 2 years.

you stated my feeliings to a T. well said

That was insane. I wonder what his reasoning was for that?

I have met Coach Dooley, talked to him, I like him, but he needs to go back to being an AD at a small college because he cannot coach. Yes, I turned today

Yep. I was almost there before today. I held a tiny bit of hope for improvement. But we're seeing coaching failure after coaching failure, and today's was the last straw. Dooley is responsible. We have talent, but we need a coach. I no longer have hope for Dooley. He needs to go.

I'm there, I thought he might hang on to the job if he won out, but surely to goodness that won't happen now! Please God, send us a top flight coach this year! Amen

I turned after MSSt. If we don't fire him now and get Gruden, then we will have to wait the season out to get another college coach. This season is a lost cause and will forever blacklist Dooley on the coaching market.

Well Dooley..it is time to go....i've backed you as far as i could, but when you let Bray tell you to STFU after the pooch punt, i lost ALL faith in you ever being able to bring this team around...first Bray's arse would have been on the bench..400 yards or not...

people make note of this...Hart hired Sunseri...Dooley wanted Kevin Steele but Hart won out...look for your next coach to be Kirby Smart, if Hart has anything to do with it...

After the beating Louisville took today from Syracuse, don't even want Strong..would be just as bad in the SEC..

by the way...Gruden will NOT be your next coach...get over it....

s/n...tired of Brays antics too....go to NFL son....good luck..

I left skid marks on Dooley's corner after the Florida game.

This. I was teetering after Kentucky last year but got suckered back in after NC State.... Post Florida i was out. After today i almost actually hate the guy...

Yes, that really sunk any reasoning I had that he should stay. We have a horrible kicker, and so you decide to take it into OVERTIME (where you have to depend on him to win) instead of depending on our high octane offense and then if you can't get it into the endzone/kicker misses you go into overtime.

Also, the fans were freaking great today. They were VERY supportive of the defense when they did well. They showed up for the most part. We deserve better than this.

EDIT: and I don't want Kirby Smart or Petrino.

If I were Hart I would have fired his azz at the end of regulation. Somebody else would have had to coach OT. That was the dumbest !@$%%%%@!% thing I've ever seen. Giving up on those players with that much time left drives me crazy. I wanted to punch his damn lights out. I can't tell you how angry I am.

I have always beleived that a true Heart for love of Tennessee or a winning football program must truley come from a proven coach or a Tennessee native personality. No ties, no Love, = No wins. I want a coach that drives the talent and guides the season with the ability to reconize quickly what a team has to do other than be in the best damn shape in the country. I feel like our guys are not in great physical shape they suck in the 2nd half. This season has made me tired.
