I mean really!? It's one extreme or the other with this staff... He is out there to beat you with his feet and tonight they decide to plant him in the pocket and threaten him if he moves? Last week he was all over the place and this week he hands off the ball and is a pocket passer and never takes off.... It would take most teams an entire year to make the errors and mental mistakes this team made tonight in one single game... it never ended.

That was the most puzzling thing to me about tonight. He is clearly the most dangerous when he is a threat to run but he never did so. OC is trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. If you want a pocket passer, you have to switch to Dormandy.

I agree 110% when you are just about to get over the meltdown from last week the coaches find a way to re open the wound!

Must have been the same guy who told him a one bounce pass counted against Arkansas

The same coaches who run a high-paced offense but sub on every play and run our receivers to death before ball is snapped. No wonder they rarely outrun the coverage. Perhaps J Smith stays on the field more than most.

They want him to throw but he is not good at it I get that so just run him and throw sometimes or put Dormandy in the season is shot anyways.

I'm wondering if he was hurt. He certainly looked like a fish out of water in the pocket.

Let's see here. We have a qb who is a runner. So, we don't let him run, and he can't pass. At least Dooley didn't try to run the option with Tyler Bray.

Look guys... it has to be one or the other... we should not try to mix it up too much... this team is not ready for multiple attack modes.

There was several time tonight I thought he was about to run, he had an opening and could have easily got 10+ yards but for some reason he just would not run.

What's bad is the message boards for Arkansas were spewing with talk about how they can't stop mobile QB's.

It takes a special kind of coach not to run with a QB like Dobbs against a team that can't stop the QB run.

Debord apparently doesn't know what a Dual-QB is. Heck, he would ruin Dak Prescott by making him stay in the pocket.

If you couldn't tell tonight he obviously can't throw past 5 yards and if he would've tried to run against that line he would've been injured then we would have a quarterback that can't throw or run.

I said this earlier: We run Dobbs every other play last week--too much, obviously--and don't throw to our receivers. And this week we do the exact opposite. Balance, baby--we don't have it. It doesn't help that Howard and North are MIA. We seemed to be stacked with receivers and now we are thin at the position.

I'm thinking Dobbs is beat up after Florida. I don't know, it doesn't look good though. Throwing more gas on the fire won't help this team. At some point the best coaches ask their players to make plays. I didn't see many plays being made. Wrs have to catch balls to be effective, the plays that really mattered not one was caught. Josh smith made one play for us on the perfect corner route. The other Wr are not being coached. That's on Azzani, I think he has to make some staff changes now. DL is very young, should be pretty good next season, losing Maggitt really hurt that group. Our dbs I'm lost on. Lbs can't cover a TE, neither can the safeties
