What junior or senior player do you think will step up this year and make a name for themselves for nfl draft? I think josh briscoe will suprise everyone this year with the new offense and he will get drafted next year.

I think Briscoe has a decent shot of doing that as well. He looked quicker and faster in the spring highlights than I can remember in the past.

Boy wouldn't that be nice. Where do you expect him? DE/DT?

They've moved him so many times I couldn't tell you. We probably need him more at DE since we have Bolden, Williams, Fisher, Langley, Nelson, and Thomas at DT. We only have Ayers, Brown, Martin, Walker, and Tritapoe(who's letter 2 year supposedly).

If he makes it in, I think Walls might get a look at DE. Bohannon probably could too.

I hope the season doesn't hang on Thomas and/or Nelson considering how they've developed so far. Maybe they'll finally tune in this summer and come back studs but....

I'm about as hopeful that Hughes will show up and become the biggest suprise in the SEC.

I've heard Bohannon was one of the most underrated prospects last year. I expect him to make some contributions this fall. Also, if Walls is as big as stated in another post, 6'5 250lbs, I definitely see him moving to DE. That was here say I believe, but still.

OMG, sjt, I was just about to say the same thing about Hughes. I have a good feeling about Bohannon also.

I hadn't noticed that disparity in the reported size for Walls. Rivals has 6'2", 225- probably MLB. GVX has 6'4" 230 as does UTSports- almost certainly a DE. Scout has 6'4", 215... but can they be counted on?

There's no way Brisco is going to get drafted. I am not a negative person usually, but he's just not PHYSICALLY gifted enough. I hope he has a great year, and I hope he DOES get drafted, but I would definitely bet my money on somebody else. Nothing against him personally at all, I love him as a Vol.

Someone who knew him posted on here a few weeks ago claiming he was now 6'5 and 250lbs. I never really thought he would play LB, he seemed to be for a UT LB. I'm surprised Gerald Williams is getting a shot at MLB since he's 6'5 245-260(depending on which year you use)and came here 3 years ago and turned heads at DE.

One Leonard Little was enough I think, but I know what your saying and it'd be nice to have speed like that coming off the edge

Personally, id like to see Quintin Hancock step up.

Who Steps Up-
Willingham becomes a major force at corner.
Ayers has 8+ sacks and is all-sec.
Denarius Moore is a top 3 reciever.
Josh McNeil lives up to the hype this year and leads the O-line.
Savion Frazier becomes a starter before the season is over.
