I think the SEC should concentrate on digesting what it has just swallowed. It's gone from exceptionally difficult to brutal. Enough is enough.

Virginia and NC are too academic to take a whiff of the SEC. Virginia Tech has been strong in football from the 90s until recently and would probably be down for it. NC State is more realistic in North Carolina. They have historically had times when they were at odds with NC and Duke but I don't know if they ever patched things up. I think they would at least be more interested than NC.

TBH, UNC and Clemson are the only ones on this list that have the facilities and budget capabilities to compete. Both would fit easily FSU could.but has some financial constraints. I'd love for WVU due to friends working there, but they don't have near the facilities or resources.

JMHO but with Texas (noway I'll call them UT because we ARE the only UT) and Ok coming to the sec let's not complicate matters with adding other teams and from the teams listed with the exception of Kansas would wind up in the east and with Bama and Aurburn already coming to the east how would this help us? Also how do you geographically align the conference? One word comes to mind HEADACHE.

Georgia Tech has to be strongly considered. Number one: we do NOT want Michigan, Ohio St and those of their ilk making annual trips to Atlanta to play games. Plus, maybe the Wreck gets better and revive some great old rivalries.

1. You are probably right as things stand right now. But I would have never thought Texas and Oklahoma would want to come to the SEC. So never say never.

2. Say what you will: Va tech has the potential for growth, and would be a good fit in the SEC. And I believe they would pull the media money. And Vegas is not that fun, al least to me.

3. Hell no. The dimwits somebody elected to the house and senate remind me of the 300 stooges, Just not all that funny. If you for one second got the Idea I prefer that, you need a damn brain transplant. Today!

Virginia/Virginia Tech

We would be expanding into two new markets, we would become THE dominant basketball conference and it wouldnt even be close, and we'd add a couple more easy wins on our football schedule.

I know you asked for 4 but I say screw it and go for 6. Clemson, Florida St, Miami, Notre Dame, North Carolina, and Duke. It would be beneficial for football and basketball. If you wanna go for 8 then go for Virginia and Virginia Tech also.

I could see the SEC going after Kansas purely for basketball purposes. They wouldn’t care how good they are in football if it means getting a big time program like that.

To me Kansas is a Big Ten school. Its where I've always thought they belonged. Same with Notre Dame. Yes they suck in football but for basketball I have always seen them belonging in the Big Ten.

Well I never thought a school like Missouri would join the SEC but that happened. Nothing will surprise me at this point.

I’d like to see Miami, FSU, VT, and WVU. Divide the conference into two 10 team divisions.

Decent midwest television market. They don't get all those good bball players because nobody knows who they are.

D1 schools know football is where the dollars are. To add a school, they have to bring something to the table for football
