I wouldn't be getting on a new poster for something last year, its just that there are like 5-6 posts about new coaches on page 1, probably 10 more on page 2.

Bill Cowher is a pure NFL guy. Any job on a college level would be only temporary until a coveted NFL gig would open up. He is not an answer.

I like Cower a lot. But I too see him purely as a NFL guy. Kind of like SOS just didnt seem right in the NFL when he went.

Cowher's waiting for the Cowboys job to open up. If they don't get to the Super Bowl this year, Jerry Jones is going to fire Wade Phillips and hire Cowher.

Boys and girls, I've been a Big Orange fan for years. I've suffered thru some bad years and had some great years. For the last 3 years I have said Phil needs to go and everyone called me crazy. When he hired Cutcliff back they should have fired him then. Phil and Cutcliff have been playing Johnny Majors ball the last few years. Run right, run left, run upthe middle, punt. We haven't had a good QB since Payton left and we won't get one untill Phil leaves. A great QB will not come to us and sit bench for 2 or 3 years because Phil wants to play the guy that been there the longest. Crompton needs to sit out and put in BJ. He good and can get the job done. Sorry for the ranting but I long for good days again.

Terry Bowden would suit me fine. He's been out long enough to want to prove he can still coach. If I was UTAD I would go with him or look to an NFL coordinator. Instead ,if the day ever does come, we will get a search committee for 100k to do the job.

First of all, Martin wasn't a pro style passer, but considering that he led the team to a national championship, and then pretty much carried us through the Georgia and Alabama games in 1999, both of which we weren't favored in, I think you are missing something, or you don't like mobile qbs. Maybe you just don't like black ones.

Lets go after Saban. From what I've heard, there is no penalty clause for early departure in his contract . BAMA fans already hate us, so let's give them something to really get fired ub about!!
