Just don't think I could handle a Holtz coaching at UT... and dunno how well he recruits. Gotta be a top recruiter to make it work here.

I just hope the next coach we get is also from Tennessee, and preferably from East Tennessee since we need one who will be loyal to us here and not have family ties from another SEC state, or the north, or from the other parts of Tennessee who don't really like us, and would love to see us continue losing.


are you kidding me?..hey jerk, there are more parts to tennessee than east tenneessee. that type of closed minded arrogant elitism is just what we need. how about we only get a coach from knox county? only knox countians are true vols anyways right?

No to USF guy. Tennessee needs a marquee name that could draw immediate respect. Urban Meyer was at smaller schools, but was proven as a winner. We don't need a Zooker or Mike Shula. We need someone who is proven.

What sucks is there are no TN guys out there. Little Dickey was on the rise a while ago, but has disappeared off the map.

I agree. We do need a marquee name. Skip holtz i don't think could recruit the players. Bronco i like. Also i wouldn't mind seeing Mark Dantonio. He's a hard nose guy who won't put up with this kind of play. Remember he was the one who got Cincinatti back on the map before Kelly came in and took over. I like his style of play. I just don't want a spread guy like Meyer.

That we would hold Tebow to under 100 yards passing and all of UF's offense to under 250 yards I would have just about guaranteed you a victory...

Yet when I think back on yesterdays game I don't ever remember feeling like we were in it...

Why is that? How could we hold such an explosive offense to those kind of numbers and still get blown out?

I guess its time to call a dog a dog...our program is in the crapper...when we play a team like UF we can hold them to basically nothing on offense and still get blown out....that is the sign of a truly awful football team

Spurrier, Locksley, Cowher, Spurrier Jr., Patterson, Johnson. In that order, of who I want to see sporting the Orange Coach Polo next season, and for the future. We need a guy who will win, handle the pressure, win against top 10 teams, and continue to win and contend for an SEC title every year. I'm fine with 10-20 years without a National title, we should be top 3 consideration for the SEC EVERY YEAR. That won't happen with Fulmer.

Starting the game by giving up a 50 yard kickoff return followed by a fumble at your own 25 followed by giving up a punt return TD pretty much screws up the meaning of any statistics from there on out.

Special teams and turnovers...two things we are truly atrocious at this year...

I just didn't know we held UF to those numbers until a few minutes ago because I was too disgusted to read anything about the game until then...and when I saw those numbers I was completely beside myself

Not to mention the fumble, and interception inside the 5 yard line.

there probably the best in the ACC again this year, and they just beat Florida State at Florida State
